Tennessee Career and Technical Student Organizations, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Tennessee. In partnership with the Tennessee Department of Education, Tennessee CTSOs, Inc. assists in the coordination of CTSOs and the delivery of educational programs, including Chapter Officer Leadership Training and Fall Leadership Conferences.
Each career and technical student organization in Tennessee; including DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, and TSA; is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Education employs State Advisors for each organization. The State Advisors implement policies and manage the educational programs of the organization.
Each CTSO consists of local chapters, which are unincorporated student organizations operating under the authority of their local school district, state-level CTSO, and their national-level CTSO.
